DAW 1 stands for “Dispense As Written.” It tells the pharmacy that your doctor has prescribed RELEXXII specifically and does not want it substituted with another ADHD medication. State pharmacy laws and insurance coverage requirements may vary.
Asking your doctor to include DAW 1 may help you:
- Receive RELEXXII instead of a substitute
- Avoid delays at the pharmacy
